Pregnancy is the best and exciting period in a women’s life when she is expecting a baby and is preparing to be a mother. During this period there may be many side effects and problems that you might be facing with your face skin.

These problems really need a solution. Challenges are always faced during the nine months of baby expecting which are both interesting as well as painful.

Apart from the stretch marks that you must be aware of a mother-to-be also experiences something known as “mask of pregnancy”, also referred to as chloasma and melasma, which are basically dark splotchy spots in the face.

Pregnancy can also make you break out more as your skin is likely to produce more oil.

Though these are some of the common problems that women face during their pregnancy period, they can very well be avoided if you do prenatal massages and use some face pack or masks.

Lemon and Potato Pulp Face Mask

The only ingredients needed to make this mask is lemon juice and potato juice. They can help you get rid of the stretch marks and also lighten your complexion making you look all the more beautiful.

This mask is rich in vitamin C, is absolutely safe for a pregnant mother’s skin, and shows great results.

Prepare the mask

  • Extract 1/2 cup of potato juice in a bowl.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice.
  • Mix well and apply onto your clean face.
  • Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off with fresh water.

Almond Oil and Banana Face Mask

This is one of the most economical and greatly effective masks that anyone can easily make at home.

The almond oil-banana face pack is rich in vitamin B12 and vitamin C. It helps improve the collagen production in your skin which will provide elasticity and thus make you look young for long.

Prepare the mask

  • Take 1 chopped ripe banana and mash it in a bowl until it forms a paste.

Prepare the mask

  • Take 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt and oatmeal in a bowl and mix well.
  • You may add a few drops of warm honey, and mix it again.
  • Now apply this mask on your clean face, leave it for 10 minutes, and wash off with lukewarm water.

Milk and Honey Face Mask

Honey and Papaya Face Mask
