Here is a list of some great men's brands:
Well there you have it! The Best Organic Products! If you have any products you would like to see added, let us know, we are always looking to test new products and we love hearing your stories!
Yours In Beauty,
Andrea
Perfect list just what I needed. Can you add highlighter, bronzer, toner, moisture mask, hair styling products, nail polish, perfume, and !!! eyebrow product ?
Good Idea Sophie 🙂 We can do that for sure!
We have added a makeup product page and I am working on a hair product page 🙂
can you tell us the best organic acne products?
I personally like using benzoyl peroxide for my acne. The best benzoyl peroxide lotion is BENZD. You can read my review here: BENZD : Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion Review
I can highly recommend Azulene Paste by Doctor Eckstein Biokosmetik. I learned about it the book by Dr. Phil’s wife. She swears by it and now I know why. It does have an odor, but that’s because it’s all natural.
Thanks Karen 🙂 I haven’t heard of this product before, what is it used for?
Thank you for your research! You are very thorough in your recommendations. I am, however, 61 yrs. old and like to live a somewhat simple lifestyle. I definitely don’t like my aging skin and need to take excellent care of it to stop its declining condition. Looking at all these different products, from all these varied companies, somewhat boggles my mind. I live in the very dry climate of the CO mountains and my skin is very dry and prone to eczema. Could you please recommend the best single company from which I can purchase all my skin care products? Also, could you provide a start to finish list of absolutely essential products that will give me a simplified daily regimen to follow. Thank you so much!
Hi Anita 🙂 I am sure it can be overwhelming with the amount of choices that are available and yes, we have recommended a variety of brands on this page (which I understand can be a bit mind boggling). If I were to recommend one company, it would be Dr Alkaitis. Their line of skin care products are meant to bring balance to all skin types. “Dr. Alkaitis practices a comprehensive holistic approach to skin care. He treats the skin as the whole living organism it is, not as a collection of concerns.”
For a dry skin regime I would recommend:
Daytime
Step 1: Purifying Facial Cleanser to remove impurities, dirt, oil and grime.
Step 2: Herbal Toner to even skin tone and soften the skin.
Step 3: Day Cream to moisturize and protect the skin.
Step 4: Eye Cream to soften the delicate eye area.
Nighttime
Step 1: If you wear makeup, use the Mascara & Eye Make-up Remover
Step 2: Purifying Facial Cleanser
Step 3: Herbal Toner
Step 4: Night Cream or the Nourishing Treatment Oil. The Nourishing Treatment Oil seals in moisture and balances oil production. The Night Cream restores your skin’s vitality and natural translucence.
Step 5: Eye Cream
Weekly
Use the Beautifying Mask as a weekly nourishing mask. This mask deeply nourishes and helps to prevent signs of aging by supporting collagen production.
Hi Anita! There’s a local company in CO that’s awesome I discovered in 5e Denver airport, Taspen Organics, have you tried them ? Love their products!
Hii Andrea,
I’m 27 yrs old. I have oily skin. Can you suggest what is the Best skincare for me
For cleanser, toner and moisturiser. Tq
Hi Yani 🙂 Thanks for your question. You can find our picks for oily skin here.
What kind of sunscreen is healthiest to use on my face skin as opposed to rest of body skin?
Hi Adelle, I like to use a tinted moisturizer with SPF on my face as a sunscreen. I like tinted creams because I like to use sunscreens with zinc oxide in them, and zinc oxide makes your face look white. The tinting helps conceal that. I really like ILIA’s Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer. It has an SPF of 20.
Hii,I am 28 yr old .can u plz suggest some organic moisturizer, toner, face wash ,night cream, serum for dry skin to get clean and clear skin..
The products on this page will work for all skin types. so you could use this list as a guide to finding products. If you want specific recommendations, I need to know more about your skin and the climate you live in, as well as your budget. When you say you want to get clean and clear skin, what do you mean? Do you have blemishes, or just flakiness and dryness?
I have fine line under my eyes …while smiling it looks very odd ?..Pls suggest some product for this…
Hello Vijitha, I would suggest a potent eye cream. This is a great article to learn more about the eye area. The eye cream I suggest in that article is Fobrim’s Youthful Radiance Eye Cream.
What do you recommend forehead lines? I am thirty and just starting to see them. I have dry skin.
Hi Christina, I have recently heard from my friends about a product that works to get rid of expression lines on the forehead. They are called Frownies. They are sticky strips that you use nightly to train your muscles to relax so that your lines disappear. They do need to be used consistently to see results. Another option is to use a hyaluronic acid serum to plump up your skin and prevent further wrinkles. I like Radha Beauty Hyaluroic Acid Serum.
Thanks!
I have an extremely sensitive skin, and also have a lot of hyper pigmentation. My skin is also very sensitive to light and heat. I have not been able to find any moisturizer, make up and sunblock which my face can tolerate. Please give me some suggestions about what organic make up, etc I can use on my face.
Thank you.
Pratima
Hi Pratima, have you ever heard of Pai Skincare? They specialize in products for sensitive skin. They have moisturizers, not sure if they have a sunblock. They don’t make makeup. Have you tried plain mineral makeup? Alima Pure makes mineral makeup that I really like. I would stay away from drying ingredients such as alcohol. Look for products made for sensitive skin. Because you are sensitive to light and heat, you need a sunblock. I am not sure which sunblock to recommend to you, because I don’t know what your skin is sensitive to. I would suggest a sunscreen with zinc oxide in it, as it is an anti-inflammatory. A tinted moisturizer with sunblock might be good, as it will hydrate, protect, and conceal your skin. Suntegrity makes a highly rated tinted sunscreen.
Based on what I read, I have combination/mature skin, though I sometimes feel it is becoming more dry (but didn’t really match the description of dry skin type). I live in Kansas where weather can change several times in one day! I am more on the budget end of the spectrum. Do you have any suggestions? I do like earthy scents more than floral! Thanks!
Hi Kathy, I would treat your aging skin with a potent serum and target your dryness with a good moisturizer. A toner might be a good addition to combat any oiliness from the combo skin. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, use a toner without alcohol (I like thayers), apply your serum (this one from TEVA Organic is a great product, but if you want something cheaper, this InstanNaturals serum is also good), then finish with your moisturizer. The Christina Moss moisturizer is good for all skin types and has a mild licorice scent.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
I did think of a few additional questions/comments. I also have so me pigmentation and would like to find something that would help even that out. Would you still suggest thayers for this? Also, is it better to stay in the same skin care line? I notice your suggestions are from different lines. Thanks again!!
Hi Kathy, The rose in the thayers toner helps even out complexion, so it will be good at helping with your hyper-pigmentation. You can decide to stick to one brand of products, as the products will be made to work together, however it isn’t necessary. InstaNaturals has a serum meant for brightening the skin and dealing with spots, it also helps with aging, so you could use that one instead of the other I recommended.
According to 100 percent pure’s website, their intensive nourishing moisture balm has recently been discontinued. Do you have an alternative suggestion for a budget buy moisturizing balm? Thank you!
That is too bad that they are discontinuing it! I really liked that balm, I especially liked that it did not contain beeswax (I have a beeswax sensitivity). Hopefully 100% Pure will release another balm like it in the future. I can recommend a couple alternatives, 100% Pure has a Vitamin A and C balm that is comparable, but the price is higher. Another option is Badger’s Argan Beauty Balm or Nourish Organics Replenishing Argan Oil Balm.
is there any other cleansers you recommend
Hi Veronica, there is a plethora of cleansers I can recommend! I really like cleansers by Pai Skincare and Acure Organics. We wanted to keep our Best Products list simple and suitable for all skin types, which is why we only recommend a couple.
I am trying to figure out something natural and pure that is on a budget buy but that will really clean well. I am sorry for being complicated I am just indecisive
Hi Veronica, the Christina Moss Naturals cleanser that we link to above is a great budget buy. Acure Organics has budget cleansers as well, and offer a variety of different ones.
Also, if I start using organic cleansers, would it be bad if i mix it with like MAC make up?
No, that would be fine. Eventually you may want to move away from MAC makeup and use more natural makeup, but mixing an organic cleanser with regular makeup is not a bad thing. I have to use drugstore makeup at the moment because I cannot afford organic makeup, but I use organic cleansers, facial oils, and serums. You have to pick your battles 🙂
Thanks so much for your advice. Have you heard of mad hippe as well? I found an app called think dirty and it’s really cool because you can scan products and it tells you if it contains toxic products. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have all products but it’s helpful in case you ever wanna try it too!
I don’t have any Mac makeup but my friend sometimes does my makeup with that so I figured I should ask 🙂
Also, I’m confused on how to use the stuff for my face. Would it first be cleanser, toner, moisturizer and then the exfoliator or is the exfoliation only once a week?
I have heard of Mad Hippie! They are a good brand as well 🙂 There are so many great brands making organic skin care 🙂 I have also heard of the Think Dirty app, I just recently got my first cell phone (a little late to the party, I know), so I could actually try out the app now!
Yes, your skin care routine would be: cleanser first, then toner. After that you would moisturize. Exfoliation can be done 1-2 times a week (I recommend every 3 days).
I really want to try them but they are not on the think dirty app and the product of theirs that is says it is not good :/ I also read the Derma-E ones since they claim to be really good but think dirty says otherwise 🙁
Oh, that is awesome! 🙂
I will try the exfoliator from acure I am just trying to get the perfect cleanser as well first. Would I need a serum?
I have used Derma-E products, and I know that they have some questionable ingredients. I try not to be too dogmatic about everything being completely pure. If you really want purity, you are going to be paying way more money. Brands like Laurel Whole Plant Organics, Kypris Beauty, Dr Alkaitis, those are going to be the best you can buy, but they are not affordable to everyone. If you really want to go clean and pure on a budget, then stick to very simple items and make some of your own skin care. A cleanser is not the most important part of your skin care routine, because it only stays on your face for about 6 seconds. You could look at buying some castile soap (like Dr Bronners) and use that on your face, that is super simple and affordable.
A serum is a great addition to a skin care routine, because it can target any issues you may have with your skin. It can be hard to find a clean serum. Most of the high-end brands don’t even make water-based serums, they make oil blends and call them serums (because they are easier to make pure and don’t need preservatives).
Sometimes we have to be willing to bend a little to fit into a budget. What is your skin type? What would you want a serum to do for you?
Have you heard of the brand essance skin care?
I have not heard of them.
They told me their toner would be good since I do not have much acne or oily skin. My skin gets oily sometimes and usually its normal which is what I think. I do not know much about what serums do which is why I dont know if I would need one.
Here is a link to the products in case you want to check them out 🙂 If you do, let me know what you think.
http://www.essanceskincare.com/
I checked out Essance Skincare, their products look nice, they have good ingredients.
You can learn about serums from some of our articles:
Why Serums Are The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Serums and Boosters – What are They For?
Serums are basically targeted skin treatments. They are either water or oil based and they are super potent and concentrated. They are meant to adsorb deep into the skin and help with aging, acne, congestion, dullness, hyper-pigmentation, dryness, or other skin issues.
I am excited to try them and I hope its good because every cleanser I have used i do not notice anything or even notice a difference maybe because I do not usually break out.
Thanks for that information. Aside from my cleansing, toning, and moustorizing is there any natural exfoliation masks I can do weekly with natural products? They told me that the cleanser I got has jojoba beads so it also exfoliates. Should I do any other masks weekly such as honey for example?
You can do a weekly mask if you want. If you notice dullness or congestion, a mask can help with that. I have a comprehensive post about different cosmetic clays that you could check out. Honey makes a great mask. Here are some articles you can read for more info about masks:

Is there any way to make our own serum so it could be cheaper?
You can make your own serums! We have a post on making your own serum. It is easier to make an oil-based serum at home than making a water-based one.
tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. Cucumber
1 tbsp. Honey
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking Soda
Do these sound like good ingredients to use on your face even baking soda?
Baking soda can be great on the skin. Yes, that sounds like a good recipe.
You guys have such good advice all you need is hair products! 🙂
Thanks Veronica! We will work on hair products soon!
So the reason I asked about the brand essance is because they are also an organic brand but they told me that the cleanser and toner is fine to use at night time without moustirizer but that it is not necessary to cleanse day and night.
Everyone has their own advice to give. Skin care is so individual, that you basically have to try things out for yourself and see how your skin reacts. Your skin care routine will depend on your skin type and climate. I know people who don’t cleanse twice a day, or use water to wash their face. I personally have to wash my face twice a day, because I have oily skin with acne. I never used to use a moisturizer, until I found one specifically for adult acne, and now I use it twice a day.
With so much different advice, it can be hard to know what to do. I say just jump in and try things, see how your skin reacts, and go from there 🙂
How can I best identify my color match for a BB Creme? I am light skinned but not too light.
Hi Veronica, it can be tough to color match online, because monitors have different color settings. We have an article about choosing your foundation color that may help.
Also, Do I need a primer before using a BB Creme?
It depends. A hydrating primer is great if you have flaking or dry skin. Your makeup will look much better with a primer underneath, it will also last longer. If you have oily skin, a mattifying primer can help control shine. If your skin texture is already good, a primer is not really necessary.
i have deeper fine line /wrinkles on my skin. I had been using Eminence Bamboo Serum and Acai moisturizer since 2 year ago. They do not work and nothing to reduce wrinkle and fine lines. Which brand is best for reducing deeper fine lines and wrinkles.
Hi Maka, it can be tough for a skin care product to have any effect on deep lines. Mainly, topical skin care products help nourish our skin to slow the aging process, but they cannot stop it. One topical ingredient that does have a more pronounced effect on wrinkles is glycolic acid. If you really want to see results, you have to take more drastic approaches. Have you tried radiofrequency devices? They can stimulate collagen production on a level that topical skin care can barely reach.
I really appreciate the info and ideas. I love your blog!
Thanks Tracie!
Hi,
I need help finding a way to care for my skin. I am 49, very active with boys, and a teacher. My skin is very sensitive and I think I have a slight case of rosacea. The cold and dry winter weather here in the northeast makes my skin very dry and red. Could you please recommend products, budget friendly would be best, to help me not just cover up the redness, but alleviate the problem skin I have. I would also love to find hair products for fine hair.
Thanks
Hi Kristen, have you read our organic skin care for sensitive skin page? It will give you lots of helpful information on caring for your skin as well as product recommendations. For fine hair I would recommend the brands Evolvh or Yarok 🙂
Hi Andrea. Please recommend me a day cream/lotion , night moisturizer , vit c serum and eye cream for daily use. I am in early 40’s. I have combination skin normal to oily. I do have some age spots. Thank you
Hello Kuldip, please check out our page for combination skin for product recommendations.
can u suggest me any cream to improve my skin complexion to fair skin ton
Hi Maria, I am not sure what you are asking. Are you wanting to lighten your skin tone?
Hey Guys!
This product has been discontinued. So you have another one you might recommend in its place? Night Cream: 100% Pure | Vitamin A and CoQ10 Night Cream. Thank you!!
Noni
Hi Noni, thanks for letting us know 🙂 100% Pure has another night cream that can take the place of the one that has been discontinued. It is called Multi-Vitamin + Antioxidant Ultra Rich PM Treatment.
Thank you very much. I will try that.
Hi Andrea
Can you please help? I have recently discovered the face Moisturizer I use contains propylene glycol and parabens. I am really annoyed as the cream was sold to me by a global company who advertised natural ingredients (even though they have listed the above ingredients in).
I am looking for a safe Moisturizer without these ingredients. I am looking for an anti-aging cream. My forehead can get oily but the rest of my face is normal. What do you recommend?
Also I am looking for safe face and body Moisturizer for my two children aged 3 and 7. Can you recommend a paraben free one?
Thank you again
Mandy
Hi Mandy, I know what you mean! I get bothered by companies stating they are all-natural, only to find that they still use questionable ingredients. I have an article on paraben-free moisturizers you can read. For you, I would recommend the Eminence Arctic Berry Peptide Radiance Cream. For your kids, there are some really great body lotion recommendations here.
I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
