It is a dream of everyone to stay fresh and attractive forever. However, the effects of sunburn, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation are very discouraging and make you feel inferior. You can always beat these effects by using some effective home remedies and bring your shiny skin back. Here are some natural solutions for these problems mentioned in this review by Jason Hope.

Natural solutions for sunburn

Hydration

Sunburn can be drying to the skin causing dehydration. Hydration is very important to help the healing process. Drink a lot of water, fresh juices and herbal teas to stay hydrated.

Cool bath

Take a cool shower to relieve your burnt skin. Cool water will reduce the pain and redness caused by sunburn.

Baking soda for fighting burns

Cornstarch or baking soda has a cool, smooth texture and it naturally relieves your sunburn. It will reduce the pain and lessen the burning red signs of the burn. Mix baking soda with cool water and apply the paste on the affected area and wait for pain to reduce and vanish. Rinse off thoroughly.

Moisturize

Apply lotions containing Aloe Vera to moisturize and relieve burnt skin. Aloe Vera is a great moisturizer for peeling skin.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal can also heal sunburned skin. Its soothing properties help skin to regain its natural moisture and reduce inflammation. Fill your bathtub with fresh water, add one bowl of oatmeal and mix well. Sit in the tub for about 30 minutes. Come out of the tub and dry your body. Don’t rub your skin with a towel as it will increase the irritation. Try this once in a day to relieve the symptoms of sunburn.

Cool compress

You can apply cool compress on the sunburned skin. This will cause the small vessels to tighten, which will reduce irritation. Wrap some ice cubes in a wet cloth. Keep it over the sunburned skin as long as it is cool. Never apply ice directly on the skin as it is harmful for skin.

Sugar is such a wonderful exfoliator as it smoothly scrubs away the blistering and dead skin away to reveal shinier and even toned skin. Make a paste of sugar granules with water and add a spoon of any face cream and combine well. Wait for 10 minutes and then rub your face or other parts having uneven skin tone.
