Where Can I Buy Jojoba Oil?

Are you wondering where you can buy Jojoba oil? Chances are, you are looking to buy a good quality Jojoba oil that is worth your money. You want to know that the Jojoba oil you are buying is pure and high-quality, and you are probably wondering what brand is best.

You can often find Jojoba oil at your local health food store or at a place like Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. The problem with these places, is they are often carrying brands of Jojoba oil that are packaged in clear plastic. The packaging of your Jojoba oil is important, and I will tell you why below.

I personally prefer buying my Jojoba oil online, as it is easier to find what I am looking for - Jojoba oil packaged in dark glass - and I don’t have to drive around searching.

Buying Locally vs Buying Online

You can usually find Jojoba oil at your local health food store, specialty grocery stores and sometimes drugstores.  Desert Essence and Aura Cacia are two brands that are readily available. The problem with these products is that they are packaged in clear plastic. Your oil is not going to stay fresh in clear plastic. Driving from store to store looking for Jojoba oil packaged in dark glass is a pain.

Buying online is convenient, it can be done without leaving the house and we can often have our product delivered to our door within a few days. The problem with online shopping is that there are SO MANY choices (good thing I have found the best one for you). We can often become overwhelmed with the sheer selection (that is why we come to articles like this, hoping someone can do the thinking and deciding for us).

I like finding good companies online. I like to support them with my dollar. I live in a tiny town, without much access to small businesses, so instead, I look for them online. These small businesses can sometimes be found in the place I often shop; Amazon.com. Amazon is the most trusted store on the web. They offer fast and free shipping and they often have the best prices.

Packaging

What your oils are packaged in is going to make a big difference to the effectiveness of the product.

If I am going to spend money on a potent oil and I want to actually see anti-aging effects, I need to make sure the oil I am buying is protected. A dark glass bottle is best.

A clear bottle is going to let in light, degrading the antioxidants in the oil. These are exactly the elements you want intact, they give the oil its anti-aging and nourishing effect.

I prefer glass over plastic because it is renewable and it isn’t going to leach chemicals into the oil. A dark glass bottle will keep your oil fresher, longer.

A potent oil can last you a long time, you only need a little bit each time you use it, so you need it to keep well.  Your oil will eventually go rancid, and when it does, it isn’t going to do your skin or hair any good anymore. It is best to have it stay fresh as long as it can.

Renewalize 100% pure, certified organic Jojoba oil comes in a generous 4 oz dark glass bottle with a glass dropper. It has received hundreds of positive reviews on Amazon with people finding the quality to be outstanding. It is one of the few truly certified organic Jojoba oils on Amazon (there are many that claim to be organic but are not certified). This oil also comes with a free e-book!  You can’t get any better than that.

I have not tried that brand. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a dropper, I really like Jojoba oils that come with a dropper. It makes it easier to use.

Hi Tina, any of the high-rated, organic jojoba oils available on Amazon would work. I also really like From Nature with Love because you can buy bulk jojoba oil.
