Weleda Skin Food Review

October 27, 2014 by Andrea 3 Comments

I first bought this cream years ago at my local health food store. I knew that Weleda had good products Weleda Skin Food Reviewand I needed a good cream for my hands.

If you have been using organic and natural products for a length of time you have probably heard of Weleda. They are a well-known brand and make lots of yummy products.

Today I am going to talk about my favorite hand moisturizer made by Weleda called, Skin Food.

So what is in Skin Food to make it so great?

Organic pansy soothes irritation, while the essential fatty acids and vitamin E in organic sunflower seed oil take care of stubborn dryness on your elbows, hands and feet. Anti-inflammatory extracts of organic calendula flowers gently nourish and care for parched skin.

I have used this cream for years because I really do love it. It is so thick and nourishing. It does a great job of getting rid of the dry itchy feeling without making your skin sting.

I use Skin Food a lot during the gardening season. After having my hands in the dirt, they get fairly dry. I put some Skin Food on, my hands soak it all up and feel much better.

I also use it during the winter on my hands and feet, when the air in my house is a lot dryer and it affects my skin. When my kids have dry itchy skin, we rub Skin Food on them and they feel quick relief.

The smell is nice and is not overpowering. The cream goes on thick but doesn’t leave you feeling greasy.

If you have dry rough skin then this is the cream for you.

If you work in a job that requires you to wash your hands frequently and they dry out, this cream is for you.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. You may just have to try it out for yourself! (supposedly this cream can be used on split ends! I am going to have to try that, I’ll keep you posted).
