My Review
I was lucky enough to be sent some Vapour products to try and I wanted to share the ones I love with you 🙂 The Lux lip conditioner is one of the products I really liked ( but, to be honest, I pretty much like all of Vapour's products).
My First Impression of the Product
My first impression was that it is quite wide for a lip balm-type product. I liked the packaging and the scent was faintly fruity, but I found the size of it to be a bit odd.
Scent and Texture
The texture is very nice, smooth and soft. It is not as dense as many lip balms I have used. The scent is light and fruity, almost floral. It has a slight fruity taste as well.
Application
The Lux lip conditioner works like a lip balm, it is housed in a wide tube and you turn it to bring more product up. The application is smooth, with its wide size it is easy to cover the entire lip area. The coverage it good and it leaves your lips feeling soft and smooth, without feeling sticky or giving too much shine.
Ingredients

Who is This Product For:
Anyone looking for an organic lip balm/conditioner.
How Well Does it Work?
It works great, it keeps lips smooth and soft. It won't irritate chapped lips and works well under lipstick.
How Does The Product Compare to Similar Products?
This lip conditioner is 100% organic. It it in a wider tube than most lip balms, making it easy to cover the entire lip quickly, though I found it a bit cumbersome to use.
There are no essential oils in this product. Many lip balms contain potentially irritating essential oils such as peppermint or citrus.
How Long Will it Last? What is the Shelf Life?
Using this everyday, it will last you a couple of months. The shelf life is most likely 1 year.
Final Thoughts
This is a great lip conditioner. I like the subtle fragrance and flavor. It doesn't contain essential oils, which I love, because oils like peppermint irritate my lips. The addition of flavors like plum and fig take this lip balm from bland to delightful.
The Lux Lip Conditioner is great at keeping my lips protected from the cold and wind as well as keeping them soft. The only thing it is lacking is sun protection.
Pros:
- 100% organic
- Recyclable aluminum casing
- Responsible and transparent company
- Protects the lips
- Helps speed healing
- Has a subtle scent and flavor
- Does not contain essential oils
Cons:
- The housing is wide, which I find to be a tad annoying to use, but it also covers a large area of my lips in one go, so I can see the benefit.
- No SPF
- Not Vegan
