About the Brand
Vapour Organic beauty was founded by makeup artist Eric Sakas, who discovered a revolutionary new makeup formula in Taos, New Mexico that was made exclusively of pure minerals and organic plant ingredients.
Vapour’s line of makeup has taken the beauty industry by storm. It is a totally natural and 70% organic formula that works just as well - if not better- than mainstream makeup.
Vapour’s goal is to create products that are pure, safe, and perform exceptionally well. They are committed to providing healthy products and sustaining environmental accountability.
My First Impression
My review is based on a sample I received from Vapour Beauty when I got their Atmosphere Luminous Foundation.
I was thoroughly impressed at the ease of application, this stuff glided on and blended effortlessly. What a wonderful beauty tool, this is definitely a must have.
I love using this over my Vapour Organic Luminous Foundation. I used it on my cheeks, lips and eyes. It gives a nice subtle look.
I am not a huge makeup wearer, I like to keep things simple. This is the perfect thing for looking pretty, without looking overdone.
The colors in this line are meant to flatter all skin tones, types and ages. A little goes a long way, the color stays all day and it is easy to wash off at night.
Scent and Texture
It has a light scent, they add frankincense to it for a subtle fragrance. The texture is smooth and creamy.
Application
It is a dream to apply, no special tools needed, just your fingers to blend. The full size-product comes in stick form, which makes application a breeze.

Vapour Beauty does use Carmine and Beeswax in their products (making them non-vegan) but they give an excellent explanation as to why they use these ingredients.
They only use organic beeswax, and by supporting organic bee farmers, they are actually helping the bee population survive and thrive.
Carmine is the best natural way to achieve a red tone and has been used for over 2000 years.

Castor Isostearate Beeswax Succinate - emollient base, it is a polymeric mixture of esters formed by the reaction of Castor Oil, Isostearic Acid, Beeswax, and Succinic Acid. It has a hazard rating of zero on the Skin Deep database.

Who is this product for?
This product works for all skin types, the ingredients are non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and work for all skin tones and ages.
Vapour Beauty’s minerals are suspended in a moisturizing base, their products do not settle into fine lines like dry minerals can.
Their blends are anti-aging because they are highly concentrated with moisturizers and antioxidants.
How well does it work?
This product works so well! It is amazing really, how well this blush goes on. It feels like velvet on my skin.

Final Thoughts
What a wonderful addition to my makeup bag. This product makes makeup so simple, just apply your foundation, add this to your lips, cheeks and eyes, and you are done.
I love that the product is concentrated, you don’t need to use much and it will last you a long time. The shelf life is 2 years, and because their products are water free, they don’t need chemical preservatives.
I never thought I would like a makeup product this much, I want to own a few colors now! I love that this is a multi-use product, meaning I can keep my makeup simple, which I am all for. I also love that the product is anti-aging and moisturizing, it doesn’t dry out my skin or clog my pores.
Pros:
- goes on effortlessly
- all natural, no parabens or chemical preservatives
- colors work on everyone
- a quick and easy beauty product for a full and complete makeup look
- totally multi-purpose, looks good on cheeks, lips and eyes
- smooth, blend-able and easy to apply
- no special tools needed
Cons:
- isn’t vegan friendly ( I am not vegan so this doesn’t bother me).
- The price is steep (but at least it is multi-purpose and will last a long time).
My Rating:
10/10. This is a must have beauty product! I love applying it and I love wearing it.
The product is natural, the ingredients are impeccable, and the company has a philosophy I can feel good about.
All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone, I would use this over powder makeup any day. With one product you can get a fun and flirty look, while enhancing your natural features.
