Solay Wellness DBA So Well got started in 2004 after founder Isabella Samovsky discovered her first salt lamp and fell in love. She wanted to bring salt lamps to the world - and she did! The small business had great success and grew over the years from a 2 bedroom condo to a family run warehouse in Skokie.

In 2006, So Well branched out into creating wellness products that used Himalayan salt as their core ingredient. So Well employs small hand-crafters to formulate and develop new products to share with their customers.

Now in 2016 (12 years later) they still work with the same family of artisans overseas, who ethically source the salt. These employees are taken care of and are paid a fair wage.

I am really enjoying using this creme both night and day. I apply it to my neck and around my eyes, after I have applied my facial oil. I find this creme to be hydrating and soothing, in fact it soothed an itchy eyelid I woke up with this morning.

So Well Firming Eye and Neck Creme is easy to apply. It absorbs well, and is not greasy at all. I love the all natural ingredients in this creme. I also love the fact that it has no scent, meaning it won't interfere with my scented facial oil.

Scent and Texture

There is no added scent in this product, which makes it a great choice for those who are sensitive to essential oils. It has a very light mineral scent, almost like sea salt.

The texture is thick and creamy, like a whipped body butter.

Application​

It is easy to apply this thick creme and it absorbs really well.

Himalayan Salt Water, Bentonite Clay, Organic Carthamus Tinctorius (high oleic Safflower) Seed Oil, Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Gel, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Organic Evening Primrose) Oil, Squalane, Cetearyl Olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate, Vegetable Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Vitamin E, Organic Tea (Water Infused With Organic Macrocystis pyrifera (Kelp), Organic Matricaria Chamomilla (Chamomile) Flowers, Organic Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey), Organic Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow), Organic Stellaria Media (Chickweed)), Organic Camellia Sinens (Green Tea) Extract, Coq10 Xanthan Gum. >1 % eco cert approved preservative.

This So Well product is made in Illinois. It is gluten-free, 85% organic, SLS Free, Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, and Fragrance Free. It is 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free. Only uses Fair Trade Himalayan salt​

Final Thoughts

This a great under eye and neck moisturizer. I like how gentle it is, it doesn't cause any irritation on my delicate eye area and it doesn't feel heavy oily.

When I use it on my neck, it dries and absorbs quickly and doesn't cause my neck to breakout.
