My Review
My First Impression of the Product
My first impression was the size of the product, it is quite large. This body oil will last you a good amount of time. I have used this as a body oil and as a hair oil.
Scent and Texture
There is no scent, and the texture is that of any other oil. The color is clear.
Application
Applying this body oil right out of the shower is the way to go, when you put it on damp skin, it traps the moisture. I allow the oil to penetrate for a few minutes before putting on clothing.
Skin Owl recommends using this oil right out of the shower. 2 pumps are all that are needed for each part of the body. Because it is unscented, will not compete with your perfume. You can add your own essential oils to it if you desire.
Here is a video about applying this body oil:
Additional Uses:
- Use 2 pumps with a teaspoon of brown sugar for an in-shower scrub.
- Use as a hair treatment oil. Use 2 pumps and rub into the scalp, use a comb or brush to distribute the oil throughout the hair.
- Mix with your favorite liquid bronzer for a glowing complexion.
- Use as a massage oil.

My Rating:
I give this body oil an 8/10 rating. I appreciate that it has no smell, but I prefer body oils that have a lovely scent, like Lina Hanson’s Global Body Oil <== Read My Review.
The price is fairly high and I wonder if I could purchase these ingredients separately and make my own body oil for a cheaper price. (Though that would be less convenient and I would end up with like a liter of oil that I probably couldn’t use up before it went rancid, plus I don’t have access to the botanical preservatives Skin Owl uses, and I would have to buy a pump bottle to put it in.)
This body oil is a good quality oil and it doesn’t contain any questionable ingredients. The preservatives are totally natural and the oils do not smell like they have gone rancid. All in all, this is a good quality, simple body oil that works.
