How to Simplify Your Skin Care

May 6, 2015 Maria 2 Comments

So you want to simplify your skin care and just get back to the basics, right? There are just a few essential products to help streamline your skin care and we have it all right here!

Simplify with Natural Skin Care

Thinning out your ingredients list will dramatically cut down your skin care. Less is more, as the old saying goes. Using skin care that doesn’t include a long list of toxic ingredients will really simplify things. Natural products that contain pure and fresh ingredients will have a longer lasting effect.

Use Natural Products that only Contain one Ingredient

Choose products like pure Argan oil, or Jojoba oil to use on your skin. These one ingredient wonders will work for many skin concerns you have without all the unnecessary extras. Here is a list of my best recommendations for single ingredients. Keep in mind they are also versatile.

Aloe Vera- Aloe can be used for dry skin and sensitive skin. With a high moisture content and the ability to sooth irritated skin, aloe is one product that will help simplify your skin care.

Jojoba oil-This neat little helper has antibacterial power and is non pore clogging. Jojoba oil will help treat acne and calm redness.

Argan oil-Helps fade acne scars and promotes balanced sebum production.

Coconut oil-Rich in vitamins with a molecular structure that can penetrate deep into the layered skin. Coconut oil also helps collagen production and reduces fine lines.

Almond oil-Rejuvenate and soften the skin with almond oil, and while your at it, use it as a makeup remover and sunscreen.

Essential oils- Including lavender, rosewood and ylang ylang-You will not run out of uses for these amazing oils. Highly concentrated and versatile, essential oils will dramatically simplify your skin care. Lavender alone will calm irritated skin, help heal burns and keep bacteria at bay.

Three Essentials to Simplify your Skin Care

If you really want to slim it down and keep it simple, all you need is these three essential products. Your skin will benefit beautifully with a modest selection of natural versatility.

Cleanser-We start with a very important product. A must have in our simplified selection. Our face and skin needs a great cleanser before we can do anything else with it. We want to cleanse the pores and remove debris. Many cleansers can also act as a moisturizer and exfoliater. Be mindful when choosing your cleanser. You may want a 2 in 1 style to gain these extras.

Toner-I am a true believer in toners. After you have cleansed your face you may have stripped away its natural ph balance. You will want to restore the skins ph level for protection of our largest organ. Toners will also tighten pores and soften the skin. Spray your toner anytime a day for a pick me up. You can brighten dull skin as well as moisturize. Keep your toner with you for an easy skin revive.

Moisturizer-Your last essential product. Moisturizers are going to provide you with hydration, and hydration helps in anti-aging. Moisturizers with potent organic ingredients can have amazing benefits to the skin. Dry itchy skin, sensitive and aging skin will all benefit from a moisturizer. Its a must have for protection and support of the deep layers of skin.

These three products will help simplify your skin care. You will also find that most of your skin concerns will be relieved successfully. Take your products with you when you travel to lighten your load or keep them at home and be certain you have all you need. You can add any of the above single ingredient products for a little extra care or specialized concerns. Remember less is more!

To a bright and beautiful you,

Maria.

I had no idea that there were so many organic skin care products. It seems that by using natural ingredients you’d be able to achieve really great looking skin. I’ll be sure to try some of the oils you suggested to see if they work for me.

      Awesome Jamarcus!
Organic skin care is a huge business, but beware, there are lots of products out there that are labeled as “organic” and “natural” but still have synthetic ingredients in them.
