My First Impression
Slippery stuff! It works really well. I have tried other natural lubes and this one is the best, it doesn’t get sticky and you don’t have to reapply, it lasts the whole time.
Scent and Texture
No scent, the texture is light and slippery. You can use this as a massage oil or a light moisturizer.
Application
I wish this was in a pump bottle, it can be a little messy to apply. You also can’t use it with latex condoms, so that is a bit of a bummer.
This doesn’t need to be washed off after, doesn’t leave you feeling sticky and is actually good for your skin, both inside and out.
About the Product
Ingredients
Fractionated Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil*, Evening Primrose Oil* and GMO-free Vitamin E. *Certified Organic ingredients
About The Ingredients
This lube is free from drying alcohol, glycerin (which can cause yeast infections), parabens (endocrine disrupters), petroleum (suffocates skin), harsh preservatives, and synthetic colors or fragrances.
Fractionated Coconut Oil:
This is coconut oil that has had almost all of it’s long-chain triglycerides removed, leaving the medium-chain triglycerides behind. This makes it a 100% saturated oil. The shelf life of the oil is thus extended, and it’s stability is increased.
Fractionated coconut oil is composed of mostly Capric and Caprylic acids which gives it more potent antioxidant and disinfecting properties than regular coconut oil.
Sunflower Seed Oil:
Naturally hydrates and soothes., it helps skin retain it’s natural softness.
Evening Primrose Oil:
A very gentle oil, it keeps skin hydrated and boosts blood circulation.
Price and Size
$18 for 60 ml
$28 for 120 ml
Who is this product for?
Anyone looking for a natural lubricant that won’t irritate your skin. This lubricant is perfect for those of us who want something natural, who have sensitive skin, and who want to avoid silicone and other synthetic ingredients.
How well does it work?
It works amazingly! This is by far my favorite organic lubricant. I have tried others such as Sliquid, but I found them to be sticky and they run out of steam before you are finished.
Final Thoughts
I love this lubricant. It has very few, simple ingredients that I feel good using, it works, it has a nice glide, it doesn’t need to be reapplied and it doesn’t feel sticky or gross.
The only problem is that you cannot use it with latex condoms, as the oil will degrade your condom. You can use it with lambskin and polyurethane condoms.
Pros:
- unscented
- all-natural
- high-quality ingredients
- doesn’t get sticky
- can be used as a massage oil or light moisturizer
- perfect for sensitive skin
- doesn’t need to be washed off
- stays slippery right until the end
Cons:
- can’t be used with latex condoms
- would be better in a pump bottle
My Rating:
9/10. I give this a high rating because this product works so well and the ingredients are impeccable. I love to use this anytime I am feeling a bit dry and am in a time of my cycle where I don’t have to use condoms.
My only qualm is that I think application would be easier if it were in a pump bottle and I wish I could use it when I need to use a condom.
I would love to use a product like this with a non-lubricated condom, as I hate the lubricant that is put on condoms. Unfortunately, because this is oil-based, it will degrade a latex condom.
