My First Impression
I got this serum in a recent organic beauty splurge. I bought the full-size product because I wanted a serum and I deal with clogged pores.
This serum works really nicely, it has a light lavender scent. I like to mix a couple drops in with my moisturizer for an added boost, or use a few drops straight out of the bottle as a night treatment. I love that it doesn’t clog my pores and it absorbs well, not leaving a greasy shine.
Ingredients
Highest-grade cold-pressed certified virgin organic Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil, Certified organic Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) essential oil, Certified GMO- free Vitamin E (Tocopherols) oil.
Jojoba Oil: Jojoba helps control sebum production because it is very similar to our skins natural sebum. Jojoba oil binds to sebum blockages, flushing out our pores.
Lavender: Lavender helps clear micro-organisms that contribute to pimples. It scent is calming and soothing to your emotions.
Product Info
How do you use it?
Use a couple drops mixed in to your favorite moisturizer for an added boost of effectiveness, or use a few drops alone as a more intensive treatment.
What is the Cost?
The Price is:
- USA $32 0.17 oz / 5 ml
- Canada $35 for 0.17 oz / 5 ml
With regular use, it will last about a month.
Will it Get Rid of Acne?
Maybe if you have mild acne, this could help. Jojoba oil is supposed to help clear out pores but I haven’t seen any results with it in clearing up my acne. I do love how it hydrates my skin without making my breakouts worse, unlike some oils that just give me more pimples.
Final Thoughts
I have been using this serum as part of my daily beauty regime. I wash my face, use my benzoyl peroxide cream to treat my acne, then moisturize with this serum added to pure Aloe Vera.
I am pleased with this product, though I would like to know if it is any better than buying some cheaper Jojoba oil. This product is pricy, but the quality is supposed to be impeccable.
I love that it is packaged in a very dark glass bottle with a glass dropper. I can tell the ingredients are fresh, I smell no rancidity. The lavender is a calming and soothing scent and it feels good on my skin.
I also love that the ingredients are so simple. There is nothing unnecessary in this formula, but like I said above, I wonder if I could get the same results and save some money by just buying my own Jojoba oil and lavender oil and mixing them together.
Either way, I love this serum as a moisturizer for my face, and as long as I can afford it, I will re-purchase.

Did you feel that it helped to clear existing blackheads or just prevented further skin congestion? I’ve been thinking about trying this serum but hesitate because my skin is sensitive and on the dry side, but I can’t clear up the blackheads!!
I LOVE serums. I like them more than moisturizers because they are so simple and effective. There are no added fillers like there are in moisturizers. I think this serum could work to clear blackheads, it just won’t clear up really bad acne. Odacite has a great serum for sensitive skin, I did a review on it as well. You can check it out here.
I’ve struggled with acne issues for many years and a lot of otc applications are just a waste of time. Been recently researching and experimenting with the organic route and have been starting to see some positive results. This I will definitely be checking up on, thanks so much for sharing.
That sounds so great Ty! Please keep us posted on your results!
Great Article! I am always on the look out for the most natural and organic products for my skin. This seems like a great product to try to help treat acne. Thanks for your recommendations.
Your welcome 🙂
hi!
Well this seems like a neat little serum! I love serums and how they hydrate my skin. But I do have concerns about them causing break outs. So it is very nice to hear that, although it might not help with breakouts, it does not cause any. The price is a tad high but so is the price of most serums. You do bring out a good point about potentially mixing the oils yourself. However, it would be a matter of having the right quantities.
Yes, the price is pretty high, but it will last you a month so really the cost is only just over a dollar a day.
What about people with oily skin? is it good for that too? or will that cause Acne?
This shouldn’t cause acne, but I don’t think it would cure acne. I am sure it would be a good serum for people with oily skin.
As a Jojoba user i totally ggree on Jojoba. It’s comedogenic properties make it extremely useful for even those suffering from constant blemishes (like me).
Hope it helps someone as much as it helped me!
Great to know that it has helped 🙂
Hello Andrea, great website, great info. Keep it up.
Thank you 🙂
Hi, you have nice information in this article. I don’t use serum in my day to day beauty care. Reading this article, I should start using it 🙂
Serums are a great way to moisturize your skin 🙂
