We all want to find natural organic cosmetics. Skin care is one step, makeup is the next. It’s too bad that so much of the makeup out there is toxic, getting absorbed into our bodies and flowing in our bloodstreams, touching every organ we have.
I want to use clean, natural, organic makeup on my skin. I want to know that my beauty is not coming at the price of a chemical cocktail.

I want botanical elements that nourish rather then deplete. I want oils that aren’t rancid. I want naturally grown ingredients that aren’t harming the earth and the next 7 generations with their effects.
I want to know that these ingredients are pure and natural, that they haven’t been changed and processed to be something entirely different then what they started out as.
I also want these ingredients to be fairly harvested. I want the farmers and the people involved to be paid well and treated kindly.
If I am going to wear makeup, I want to know that I am making the world a better place by doing so.
So do natural, organic cosmetics exist?
I am so pleased to say YES!
People are wanting these things more and more, and companies are popping up to fill that want. Luckily for us, we live in the internet age, where we can easily find products from all over the world that are meeting these requirements.
On the other hand, there is so much out there to sift through and weed through to get to the actual good stuff.
You are in luck, however, because Maria and I are interested in just that, helping you sift through and find the best natural organic cosmetics available on this lovely inter-web.
What are these natural organic cosmetics? And where can we find them?
There are a few different brands to choose from and a few different places to get them online.
My favorites by far are The Detox Market and Spirit Beauty Lounge. They both offer free shipping on orders over a reasonable amount and, for you Canadian women, The Detox Market has a Canadian store!
As for brands, there are a few that really catch my eye 😉
