My Review
My First Impression of the Product
I love the dark glass bottle. This bottle is almost black, it is so dark. This dark packaging ensures the integrity of the oil is kept intact. I think all beauty products should come packaged in dark glass.
Scent and Texture
There is no scent, the texture is oily, but it isn’t greasy like olive oil, it has a dryer consistency, it absorbs into the skin quickly. There is no detection of rancidity. The oil is wonderful to put on, my hair and skin are left silky smooth.
Application
When I use this Argan oil on my skin, it goes on well and absorbs well. I also use this Argan oil on my hair ends, I love how soft my hair feels after using it. My hair is quite long, so it tangles a lot at the bottom. The Argan oil helps keep my hair manageable, frizz and knot free.
This Argan oil contains a glass dropper for easy application. It is so easy to apply a couple drops to your hands and transfer it to your skin or hair.

Ingredients
100% pure organic argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil
Benefits of Argan Oil
Argan oil is an incredible source of Vitamin E and other antioxidants, as well as fatty acids that nourish the skin and hair. It is a lightweight oil made from the kernels of the nuts of the Argan tree. Argan oil is a labor-intensive oil to produce, with every step being done by hand.
- It has extremely high levels of vitamin E. This is going to assist your skin in fighting free radicals that cause aging.
- It is more resistant to oxidation then olive oil. It will last you a long time before going rancid (2 years).
- It contains Saponins. These are skin softening agents.
- It cools and soothes inflammation.
- Argan oil contains rare plant sterols. These generally reduce inflammation and can have anti-cancer properties.
- Has amazing skin protection benefits. Tissue healing (scars), sun-protective, anti-inflammatory, and disinfectant properties.
- Contains Sterolins that reduce inflammation, improve skin metabolism, and promote exceptional moisture retention.
- Argan oil contains oleic and linoleic acid (omega-9 fatty acids) in a balanced ratio. Oleic acid gives the oil richness, it penetrates and moisturizes the skin, balances sebum production and is anti-inflammatory. Linoleic acid is light and fast absorbing, helps with cell regeneration and heals the skin barrier.
Argan Oil Quality - The Kahina Giving Beauty Difference
The rise in popularity of Argan oil has lead to an increase in jobs for the women of Morocco. Kahina Giving Beauty sources their Argan oil directly from women’s cooperatives in Morocco, ensuring that the women are paid well and treated properly. Many “co-ops” are not what they claim to be, so the CEO of Kahina Giving Beauty personally visits the cooperatives she sources from.
Not all Argan oil on the market is created equal. Some Argan oil is extracted mechanically, creating an inferior product. Traditional hand-processing creates the best quality oil. Kahina Giving Beauty Argan oil is traditionally processed.
In the Argan world, there is something known as “goat factor”. Argan nuts that have been eaten and passed by goats are often sold at low prices to be made into Argan oil. Using these “goat nuts” imparts a foul smell to the oil. Thus, the oil must be deodorized, a process that destroys the beneficial nutrients in the oil. Kahina’s Argan oil is produced from top-quality nuts that have not been eaten by goats.

Final Thoughts
This truly is the best organic Argan oil you can buy. The ethics of the company that creates the oil and the fact that they are a small company with high values makes me feel wonderful supporting them.
If we are going to consume ingredients from all over the world, we need to ensure that the people who are harvesting and producing these ingredients are being treated fairly. I don’t want to support companies who make a huge profit off of the backs of the poor countries who supply us (the west) with exotic beauty products.
We as consumers need to take an active roll in choosing where we are going to spend our money. Do we choose to spend less on an Argan oil, without knowing how fairly the women are being paid? Or do we choose an Argan oil from a company that has shown to be ethical, gives back to the women who they employ, and takes the health of people and of the earth as a top priority? Who do we want to support?
I am willing to pay more for this Argan oil, because with it, I am also purchasing peace of mind. Peace of mind that my money is helping support a small company made up of a few individuals as well as women in Morocco to provide for their families.
Pros:
- Lightweight, pure Argan oil
- No added ingredients, fillers or fragrances
- Dark violet glass packaging
- Ecocert certified
- Ethical company
Cons:
- None
My Rating:
I give this product a 10/10. I have no cons with this product. It is exactly what I want to be paying for: a fair and sustainable, high quality Argan oil with its healing properties intact. I know that every nut must be shelled by hand to get to the kernels and that it takes days to process nuts into oil. This process is being done by real people and I love knowing that my dollar is improving the lives of Moroccan women.
I love using this oil on my face as a moisturizer, knowing that it is top-quality and contains an abundance of nutrients for my skin. It does amazong thing to my hair, I have found nothing else that softens my hair like this Argan oil. I know I am getting a high-quality product and the packaging will keep the integrity of the nutrients intact.

I recommend getting the larger size (100 ml/3.3 fl oz) because it is cheaper in the long run. The smaller size is $1.20/ml whereas the larger size is $0.82/ml.
