How To Use Coconut Oil For The Skin

June 8, 2016 by Jessica 6 Comments

Coconut oil on skin is an essential regimen for a flawlessly healthy look. Organic coconut oil in its finest raw state will make your skin glow so much, your highlighter will be jealous.

The beauty of coconut oil is in its ability to heal and rejuvenate all skin types. Coconut oil can be used in several different ways on the skin.

Different Uses Of Coconut Oil on Skin:

Beauty Balm

Skip spending money on overpriced moisturizers and slather on coconut oil to all your dry areas. Coconut oil is made of saturated fats which maintain moisture and keeps your skin supple and toned.

Lip Saver

I suffered from chronic dry lips until I began to apply dabs of coconut oil on my lips before I went to bed and after I woke up. The results were astonishing. After 1 week of consistent coconut oil use, my lips were no longer dry. I experimented by ceasing the application of coconut oil on my lips for a few days, and then reapplying it. I noticed that my lips would dry during the periods which I did NOT apply coconut oil.

Body Scrub

In a small glass bowl mix coconut oil, brown sugar and a few squeezes of lemon. After damping your skin, scrub all over in gentle circular motions, follow with a warm water rinse. A coconut oil body scrub always feels amazing and detoxes your skin. For a complete mind, body, and spirit treatment, use coconut oil body scrubs with a soothing lukewarm bath.

Cuticle Oil

Coconut oil is rich in Vitamin E, which is essential for strong shiny nails. Just rub a few drops of coconut oil over your cuticles daily and watch your nails strengthen.

Bath Oil

Fill a tub with warm water, fresh rose petals, and coconut oil to give yourself a luxurious bath. It will be the best bath oil ever made to smooth your skin.

Dandruff Remover

Coconut oil will bring moisture back into your scalp and get rid of dandruff. Every time you wash your hair just massage a scoop of coconut oil into your scalp. Leave on overnight for an intense treatment and wash the following morning.

Acne/Blemish Fighter

Coconut oil has natural antibacterial properties and when combined with organic soaps, helps get rid of acne without the dryness and irritation.

Anti-Aging

Coconut oil with its moisturizing, toning, and antibacterial properties makes a perfect anti-aging solution. Wrinkles will diminish, dry spots will vanish, and redness will disappear.

Make Up Remover

Makeup removers have a tendency to irritate and dry skin. Coconut oil removes makeup quickly without damaging the skin.

Many ways exist as how to use coconut oil on skin. If you have dry skin, mature skin or a combination, know that coconut oil will be a natural product to detox and nourish skill cells. Coconut oil will be your skin go-to solution!

There are many uses for coconut oil. It can be taken internally and used on the skin and hair. I use it for all of my cooking and add it to smoothies. I also use it as a makeup remover.

    Hi,

I love your website. Ive been using coconut oil for the past few months and feel like it doesnt deeply moisturizes my skin. My skin gets dry again a few hours later. Do you know why or have any tricks? I am looking for something stronger for my dry skin. Thanks!!
