Easy Spring Detox

Looking to achieve an easy spring detox? Well, you have come to the right place. Detoxing has been around for as far back as we know, animals have had detoxification routines in nature. Eating particular plants to help restore a depleted or poisoned system. We have adapted to this same routine by consuming plants or herbs to pull out toxins in our bodies.

Detoxing For your Body

Detoxing has many benefits. By choosing the right method you can achieve a better functioning system. Sort of like a tune up for the body. Detoxing can remove harsh chemicals accumulated in the system.

Detoxing for the Skin

When we detoxify our body we detoxify our skin. Choosing vitamin rich foods like carrots and beets will give your body a dose of vitamins and provide fiber to help remove toxins. Both carrots and beets will also improve the skins appearance. The high vitamin content will give your skin a natural glow and help bring color back to pale skin.

Easy Spring Detox

We have created a great 3 day spring detox that will be sure to improve a sluggish system and remove toxins from the body. The great part of this detox is you will not be fasting, you will be consuming high fiber, vitamin and mineral rich organic foods that will kick start the bodies ability to purge. So lets get started!

This is a very versatile cleanse. With a few simple key ingredients.

Your Shopping list (any budget detox)

  • 10lb of organic carrots
  • 5 large organic beets
  • 1 dozen farm eggs
  • Spinach, spinach and more spinach!
  • Green tea, dandelion tea or nettle tea (whole leaf)
  • Any of these super foods
  • *Blueberries
    *Raspberries
    *Kale
    *Eggplant
    *Tomatoes
    *Apples
    *Oranges
    *Butternut Squash

Day 1,2,3

You will be doing the same routine for all 3 days. Have fun with it. By including any of the booster foods we have listed, and follow the recommended routine, your body will do the rest!

Breakfast

During the 3 day detox your breakfast should consist of a high powered juice.

Recommended- Carrot and beet juice. Here are some simple recipes.

Carrot Beet Juice:

6 carrots

1/2 beet

Full of vitamin A and fiber. This combo will be amazing for the skin. Juice the carrots with the beets and serve!

Cucumber Cleanser:

1 Cucumber

1/2 Lemon

Cucumber is a natural diuretic and lemon aids in cleansing the body.

Any combo of your vegetables will work out great. Spinach or kale is always nice to add to any drink.

Lunch

You lunch is going to be your biggest meal, so have fun with it. You want to make a hardy salad with lots of protein and veggies, here’s what I recommend.

Hand full of spinach

1 hard boiled egg

1/2 avocado

1/2 orange sliced

1/2 cup of nuts

Olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette

Dinner

Dinner is going to finish off your day with a Fruit smoothy. (Save the best for last) Amazingly healthy and delicious! Check out my recommended recipes.

Blueberry Orange Strawberry

1/2 cup Blueberries

1 cup strawberries

1 orange

Blend these detoxifying fruits together. Serve, and love every minute of it.

Apple Orange

2 apples and 2 oranges

So tasty blended and served.

Snacks

If you are feeling hungry in between your detox routine, eat a handful of nuts or a second salad. The idea is not to starve yourself, it is to ingest high fiber and vitamin rich foods to start the detox process. So consume more if you need, just be sure you choose detox friendly foods :)

Water and Tea

Don’t forget to drink lots of water. I also recommend drinking a lot of tea (recommended in your shopping list) You will absorb a lot of minerals with tea and stay hydrated.

Our body needs a break from heavy refined foods. You will feel amazing during your detox. You will have more energy and less stress. If you want to continue on your detox you can! This is just an outline and a great starter spring detox.
