6 best organic chemical peels for home use

Assuming that you’ve read The Benefits of At-Home Chemical Peels, I’m sure you are familiar with the tremendous effects of the at-home skin peeling and the benefits it has over the peeling treatments in-office at your doctor’s. If not, just click and skim it while I wait for you here with some additional skin health-improving information. Done? Okay, now let’s move onto the next part, the 6 most recommended chemical peels you can use at home.

All made of natural ingredients, no artificial, harmful substances added, these will improve the quality of your skin just after few uses. Go through each and pick the one that covers your skin issues.

The Best Organic Chemical Peels

Fruit Fiesta Peel By MyChelle

best organic chemical peels - mychelle

The Fruit Fiesta Peel I’m recommending here is not only a powerful multi-fruit acid exfoliating peel, but it also fights against aging of the skin all while nourishing it with a rich pack of vitamins and antioxidants. By using it, you’ll feel the resurfacing of the skin has a soothing effect all while it rejuvenates and refines it.

Fruit Fiesta will give you instant results, but once you reach the wanted look, the effect will also last you long after your treatment.

PRO TIP: Just like with any other product, you need to test your skin first before applying the peel. When you see it suits you, apply a thin layer 1-2 times per week after cleansing your skin of any makeup. Avoid the eye area when applying and hold the peel on your face for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly after the time has passed and be aware that you might feel a slight tingling, but this is nothing to be scared of, it’s only the resurfacing of the skin taking place.

INGREDIENTS:

Aqua (water), rubus idaeus (raspberry) fruit, passiflora edulis (passionfruit) fruit, glycerin, lactic acid (L), acronychia acidula (lemon aspen) fruit extract, syzygium leuhmanii (lillypilly) fruit extract, davidsonia pruriens (plum) fruit extract, beta vulgaris (beet) root powder, citrus sinensis var. sanguina (blood orange) oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel extract, citrus paradisi (white grapefruit) peel oil, mandelic acid (L), tartaric acid (L), malic acid (L), caprylyl glycol, alcohol denat., glucuronolactone (D), xanthan gum, phenethyl alcohol, potassium sorbate.

MADE WITHOUT:

M-61 PowerGlow Peel

best organic chemical exfoliates - m-61

Combining glycolic and salicylic acid, this peel helps remove excess oil, clears breakouts, and promotes healthy collagen production. Additionally, bilberry and chamomile extracts as ingredients provide extra antioxidant benefits that soothe inflamed skin.

What I liked about it is that it comes in individual packets, so you are not opening the entire box each time you want to treat your skin. This acid will help reduce pore size, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and improve the skin’s tone, texture, and clarity.

PRO TIP: Depending on the size of your skin issues, it is recommended that you start using it 3 times a week and building up to every day afterward. Just wipe the pre-soaked towelette over clean, dry skin on face and neck while avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse off.

INGREDIENTS:

Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin K extract, Bilberry And Chamomile extract.

MADE WITHOUT:

Harmful Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Artificial Fragrances, And Artificial Colors.

Hello Gay, thanks for your question. The MyChelle Fruit Feista Peel would be best because it uses lactic acid as an exfoliate. Lactic acid is great for sensitive skin, also the fruit enzymes will gently exfoliate your skin.

A few years ago I was really into glycolic acid and salicylic acid, they work wonders to give all types of skin a clearer complexion. My eldest daughter also used it for acne. They say to start off with salicylic acid then move onto glycolic acid, and then work your way up in strength. I noticed one of your product reviews M-61 has both glycolic and salicylic acid…I think that’s quite a smart idea. I have also used Pumpkin Enzyme Peel and that too is very good.

I’m a huge fan of peels and have been using them for at least 10 years because they work so much better than exfoliation. I just need to take care because my skin type is delicate and reacts to some ingredients (especially if they are not natural) This one caught my eye in your list because it has the best ingredients. Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel By Eminence. Thanks for your review.

    Hello and great post.
I really like how you all go into detail how the product works and list the pros and cons.
I myself sometimes have troubles with dry/irritated skin. The previous peels I have tried have always left my face feeling dry. Would you recommend any of these products to someone as me who suffers from dry skin? 🙂

Hi Theresa, dry skin does best with lactic acid or fruit enzymes for exfoliation. Glycolic Acid and salicylic acid are too drying. If you want to use glycolic acid, you have to start slow and work your way up, also follow it’s usage with a rich night cream. You can heck out our dry skin guide for more information on how to care for dry skin, we also have an article about fruit enzymes you might want to read 🙂 Out of the peels listed above, I would recommend the Fruit Fiesta Peel for people with dry skin.
