So we have done it! We have spent our $100 each on organic beauty products. Maria and I are excited to try them out and let you know in our reviews what we think.
What Were our Purchases?
Andrea:
- ILIA Beauty Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer SPF20 ($50)
- Odacite Jojoba and Lavender Clogged Pores Serum ($31)
- a small bottle of Argan Oil ($5).
- Some samples!
Maria:
- Alima Pure Pearluster Eyeshadow – Grace ( $11.00)
- ILIA Beauty Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer SPF20 ( $50.00 )
- ILIA Beauty Mascara – Nightfall ( $32.00 )
- plus some samples!
Why Did We Choose These Products?
Andrea:
I love the ILIA Beauty tinted moisturizer because it is a 3 in 1 product. I get sun protection, moisture and light coverage, plus tinted moisturizers are more forgiving. I didn’t have to worry too much about choosing the “right” shade for my skin (hard to do over the internet).
I have wanted to try an Odacite Serum ever since reading Maria’s rave reviews, and the Argan oil is something I have been wanting to try on my skin. I am excited to get some samples to try as well.
Maria:
I wanted to get the basics for a fully organic makeup regime. I also love that I am getting a tinted moisturizer, because I wanted a moisturizer and foundation, but sold separately I would go over my budget if I also wanted to also get a mascara and eye shadow.
Now I have a completely new makeup regime! I am excited to try ILIA’s mascara. I use mascara everyday, regardless if I don’t do a full face makeup application. It will be pretty amazing to try their products.
