When I did my recent $100 organic beauty splurge, I tagged some samples onto my order.One of those samples was, Vapour Beauty’s organic atmosphere luminous foundation. I wanted to try this foundation out and see if the color was right for me before buying a full-size product.
I got the color #115 for fair skin with neutral undertones.
My Experience
It went on smooth, it was easy to apply. The color was a bit light for my skin, I think I may need #120 instead.
I applied it over top of my serum. It had nice coverage, and felt good on my skin. It wasn’t too heavy, my skin still felt like it could breathe.
I liked the feeling of it on my skin better than the ILIA tinted moisturizer.
The foundation had a matte finish, but after wearing it for awhile, my face was shiny. I think this foundation needs a powder to finish it.
Reading about the product I see now that I should be using Vapour Beauty’s Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation because it is made for oilier and younger skin. The Luminous foundation is formulated for mature and dry skin.
This is probably why it made my skin look shiny.
I am now reading the Detox Market’s how to apply section and it says that this product is meant to give a glowing finish, but not shiny, if it is shiny, then you have over-applied. - good to know.

Atmosphere Luminous Foundation has a moisturizing base. The smell is fruity and the texture is thick and creamy.

Would I Purchase this Product?
I am not sure, on the one had I like it, I like the ingredients. On the other hand, I don’t wear makeup often enough to justify it, plus I didn’t like how shiny my face looked after an hour of wearing it.
I would like to try the Soft Focus Foundation by Vapour Beauty, since it is made for more oily skin. If I liked it, and it didn’t feel heavy or made my skin shiny, I would buy it.
